Version Prismatic 0.4.0
Project file format has been changed and is not compatible with the previous versions, we needed to do a lot of cleaning in the project file format structure before the release, the unfortunate side effect is the older saves are not compatible with the new one, Prismatic will still try to load them, but it may not be able to recover the vast amount of the work
General
- Clean up icons, tooltips, and various Prismatic UI elements
- Recategorized Examples, more are coming on the release!
- IntelHD and IntelUHD graphics driver stabilization fixes
- The model group now properly renders model preview
- Fix properly reconnecting various Texture/Vertex shader edges to different nodes.
- Inputs and Outputs groups including Renderer node preview now remember their height and restore it on the project load
- Fix many problems related to copy-pasting node selection
- Many stabilizations and performance improvements
Timeline
- Introduced timeline, you can find it on the bottom toolbar
- Supports integer, floating point, and trigger animations in Linear, BezierCurve, and Step graphs
- Added TimelineControl node for direct control of Timeline in Visual programming
Windows
- Various crash fixes with older models of AMD and Nvidia cards
Nodes
- Added BayerDithering node
- Added Fisheye node
- PerlinNoise1D reimplemented to better suit needs for various cases of seeded noise
- Fix LFO preview rendering
- Replace all nodes related to converting color models to "Create colo" and "Split color" nodes, these can convert through RGBA, HSV, HSL, and CMYK color models both in float and integer modes
